Norwegian designer Peter Dundas has been announced as the new Creative Director of Roberto Cavalli, leaving his role as head of Emilio Pucci.
Dundas worked as an assistant to Jean Paul Gaultier after studying at Parsons in New York, before working for Christian Lacroix and Cavalli, and joined Emilio Pucci in 2008. His first collection for the Italian label is set to be shown at Milan Fashion Week in September. Dundas commented 'It is an honour for me to continue to evolve the wonderful world of Roberto Cavalli and I am very excited by the possibilities and potential of this unique brand. I cannot wait to get started'. Emilio Pucci has appointed MSGM designer Massimo Giorgetti as Dundas's successor.
